Rudy Prieto Announced as New CEO of Desert Diamond Casinos
TUCSON, Ariz. – Desert Diamond Casinos & Entertainment is proud to announce the hiring of Rudy Prieto as its new Chief Executive Officer. His appointment follows an extensive nationwide search by the Tohono O’odham Gaming Enterprise (TOGE) for the top executive talent in the gaming business. He begins his duties on Jan. 8, 2018 and will report directly to the TOGE Management Board of Directors.
Mr. Prieto comes to Desert Diamond Casinos with more than 30 years of experience in the gaming industry, most recently as General Manager for Pechanga Resort & Casino in California. His extensive career has involved both domestic and international gaming and hotel enterprises, including operations with multiple facilities. He is a dual citizen of the U.S. and Mexico, and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Rudy Prieto’s appointment comes at a significant moment for Desert Diamond Casinos. Under the leadership of the TOGE Management Board and outgoing CEO Andy Asselin, Desert Diamond made great strides in recent years opening its fourth facility near Glendale, Ariz., as well as successfully re-branding and streamlining operations. Asselin’s announcement last June of his pending retirement led to the Management Board’s CEO search that selected Mr. Prieto.
In December 2017, Desert Diamond broke ground on the $400 million full-scale home for its Glendale casino and resort, a project that will create over 1,500 construction jobs and produce a facility that employs approximately 1,600 people, with major economic impacts for the region. As construction moves forward, Mr. Prieto’s expertise will play a vital role in continuing to build business relations in the Phoenix West Valley. Mr. Prieto’s strong background with tribal gaming operations will also be especially valuable in expanding on the success of Desert Diamond’s three Southern Arizona properties.

We offer overnight parking (up to a month) at Shamrock with affordable rates:
Daily – $60.00 (utilities included)
Weekly – $300.00 (utilities included)
Monthly – $650.00 (utilities included)
Note:
Each site rental also includes water, sewer, and electricity.
Shamrock MHC accepts Daily, Weekly, and Monthly reservations. Our regular rates include up to four (4) people and two (2) pets under 35lbs each.
An extra charge will be added for additional people and additional pets. We reserve the right to limit the number of people and pets in any RV.
Cancellations:
Notify the park within 30 days or more before arrival: $35 charge
